  1. Hi Mel,
My hair has been natural for a number of years in twists. I am looking for a change but am not quite ready to locs it. Would I be able to use extensions? I would still want it to look natural so what type of extension would you recommend?

    1. Hi agathajb
      yes you can use extensions
im recomending natural afro human kinky hair, because its natural looking, its lighter in weight and all so can be washed. however you must re-do your extension at least every 6-7 weeks to prevent your hair from locking.
      have a great day

  2. What age would you consider right to start to braid children's hair?. My grandchild is 4 years old and her hair would be considered soft. Would that make a difference as to when she can start to have her hair braided?

    1. hi
your childs natural hair can be braided from any age, however extension braids should be given as late as possible i prefer to use human kinky hair because it blends well with natural hair, but you must remember not to braid too tightly and to moisturize hair regularly and re-do hair every 2 weeks.

  3. My hair has grown grey for the past 20 years and I have been dyeing it black for just as long. I have long sisterlocs for the past 13 years that are now thinning and breaking after I peroxided them a year back. Could also be my age (52) and stress. Have decided to take lots of hair vitamins and would like to stop dyeing the hair but first dye it all grey and then leave it all alone. If it doesnt recover, it gets the chop. Could you colour locs grey? My locs are mid back length ie: past shoulders, but very uneven and unhappy.
